2016 League Championships
July 16th-17th @ Woodland
Davis Aquamonsters is part of the Sacramento Swim League (SSL). During the summer league season we have dual meets where we compete against the other four teams in the five team league (Arden Acade, Del Paso, Sacramento Stingrays, Sutter Lawn).
At the end of our dual meet season is a season culminating championship meet - League Champs. The five SSL teams come together for a two-day swimming competition. Like the Olympic Trials, League Champs is a trials and finals meet.
This means all the swimmers in the entire league come together to race at League Champs in trials (the AM portion of the meet). Swimmers who finish in the Top 10 of their event along with Relay swimmers swim in the PM portion of the meet. This is a high honor in swimming.
Swimmers who earn a finals spot at League Chmaps qualfiy for an opportunity to move on to the Sacramento Valley Meet of Champions (All-Star meet).
This is a fun and competitive two-day swim meet with youth swimming, coaches challenge, team challenges, and a team parade.
There is also a fun parents relay at this meet.
Sacramento Swim League Championships will be held this July 16 - 17, 2016 at the Charles Brooks Community Swim Center, 155 North West St, Woodland, CA (MAP).
Entries are due soon to the league. These entries are final and we do expect all swimmers to compete at this meet who participated in our dual meet season. This is a FUN swim meet, and PB's count at this meet.
We are only allowed to enter 1 freestyle event per swimmer ages 5-14 and 2 ages 15-18. You will swim either the short free or the long free.
